What a beautiful weekend we had! The weather was gorgeous, sunny, low 80's. I wish the weather was like this year round! We did a lot outside this weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather.
Saturday, I went and met April and her sister, Amber, and cousin, Lindi, to try on Bridesmaid dresses. After trying on about 10 dresses, we found one that we all loved! We then went to Texadelphia for lunch, which was great. It was nice to meet April's sister and cousin and we all had a good time together. After lunch, April, Amber and I headed to the rodeo where Daniel and David, Amber's husband, were going to meet us. We walked around the booths and had a great time shopping. April, Daniel and I then headed out to our house. When Stephen got home we grilled hamburgers and sat outside a while talking. It was getting cold and we were all tired, so we decided to go in and watch a movie. We all sat down to watch Hitch and in no time Daniel was snoring. Not longer after, April and I were both out. Stephen stayed up to watch the whole movie and said we were all snoring.
Sunday morning we got up and I cooked breakfast. We all ate and then cleaned the kitchen. It was such a gorgeous day so we decided to go do a little shopping. We headed towards Sugar Land and Stephen and Daniel dropped April and I off at Old Navy while they went to Best Buy. We went to Old Navy and a few others stores and then the guys picked us up. We all went over to Market Street and shopped for a while. Since it was so gorgeous outside, we all decided we wanted to go eat somewhere outside. We decided on the golf course at Sienna. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the golf course. It was wonderful! The food was great, weather perfect and the company was fabulous! After lunch Daniel and April headed back to their house and Stephen and I drove to the back of the neighborhood to the walking trail. We walked to the Brazos River and sat for a while overlooking the river and talking. We walked back and swang on some swings at the park. When we got home, I went to the grocery store and Stephen worked in the yard.
This was such a beautiful weekend and it made Monday very difficult!

Palestine
Last week, Stephen and I spent 4 days in Palestine with his family. It was a wonderful long weekend trip! I wish we could have stayed all week.
Friday afternoon Shelley and the boys came and picked me up from work and I rode up to Palestine with them. Stephen had to work Saturday, so he did come until Saturday night. It was cold and rainy on Saturday so we stayed inside all day. Shelley and I made cards most of the afternoon and just hung out. Sunday was also cold and nasty outside so we stayed in most of the day. Stephen and the boys got out a little and rode around, but for the majority of the day we stayed in and played games and watched movies.
Monday was a gorgeous day! After breakfast we all got out and rode around all over the property. The weather was perfect! That afternoon we all went bowling and then had dinner at a Mexican Restaurant in town. We all had a blast bowling! When we got home, we went on a night ride and of course Stephen had to scare everyone. We all watched the Strangers that night, which was a pretty scary movie. It was fun watching it all together. Tuesday ended up being another gorgeous day. We went down to the pier pond and watched Taylor and Shelley ride the kayaks and Cameron fished. It was so peaceful and relaxing. After lunch, Stephen and I left to go back home. When we got into Houston, we decided to meet his mom, Jim, Alisa, Zach and Madison at Fajita Willies for dinner. We had not seen Alisa and the kids since Christmas so it was great to see them.
It was such a nice and relaxing trip! Now, back to reality!

Toby Keith

Last night we went to the Rodeo to see Toby Keith and Stephen and I got to meet Toby! We got to take one picture with him, they wouldn't let you take any additional photos or ask for autographs. It was a very neat experience. After meeting him, we went back up to the Ford suite with April and Daniel for the concert. We have seen Toby a few times and he puts on a great show. Last night was no exception, it was a great concert!

Spring Forward!
I am so excited Day Light Savings time is here!!!! Now, most people are upset because we lose an hour this weekend; however, I could not be more excited. I can't wait to enjoy the extra day light after work every night! And this also means that Spring is here and Summer is not far away. My two favorite times of the year!
Here's a little weekend recap. Saturday morning, Stephen went to work and I got up and had a call with Linette about Baby Once stuff for the Nutcracker Market. Then I took a shower and got ready to go to The Woodlands to meet Dad at the Spring Home and Garden show. We had a nice time looking at different booths and talked to a few people about the outdoor kitchen Mom and Dad are working on. Then, Dad and I went to Chuy's for lunch. I had a lot of fun hanging out with my Dad. I came home and hung out a while until Stephen got home. Then we started working on the dining room chairs. We got four chairs sanded.
Stephen played golf with Dad on Sunday and then I met them for lunch at Fudruckers. It was such a nice day out for them to play golf and it was great to see my Dad again. Mom is in San Antonio with Roslyn for a conference. After lunch, Stephen and I stopped by Pottery Barn at Town in Country. They have so many cute Spring things out. I just can't tell you how excited I am about Spring. When we got home, we hung out for a while and then started on the yard. We haven't done much to the yard all winter, so we fertilized, edged, weed eated, and swept. It was a beautiful night! Then we headed to the grocery store. Once we got back home, we watched Amazing Race and Big Love.
We had such a great weekend! I felt like singing the Christmas song "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". I can't say enough how excited I am about Spring!

Rascal Flatts
Stephen and I went to see Rascal Flats last night on opening night of the Rodeo. We were so excited to see them since we have never seen them before. It was a great concert! Gary LeVox has such an amazing voice. At the beginning of the concert I thought he may be lip syncing because there was no way anyone could be singing that good live, but he was! They changed the stage this year and added some screens and had neat graphics on them throughout the concert. I don't have any pictures because I can't find my camera, ugh! Anyways, it was a great night and while we always enjoy going to the Rodeo with friends, this night was fun just being Stephen and I.
Next week we are going to see Toby Keith and we get to go backstage. I am so excited!! I really have to find my camera before that!!
