Sunday afternoon walk

We took Sadie on a walk last Sunday, it was a gorgeous day! I love these pictures of Stephen walking our baby, but I felt a little like the paparazzi!

We usually take her on walks separately. Stephen does the morning walk while I get ready for work and then I do the afternoon walk while Stephen is still at work. Sometimes we go on an evening walk together, but usually Stephen just takes her so I can have a few minutes to myself to check email, watch TV, or whatever. It was so nice to go on a walk altogether on a beautiful day!

So about three weeks ago, Stephen and I decided to get a puppy. Meet Sadie:



We got her when she was 8 weeks old and weighed 10 pounds. She is now 11 weeks old and weighs 15 pounds. She is growing so fast!



She is such a ball of energy, always wanting to play and never rest! She will play for an hour and a half straight and then pass out. She is doing great with potty training. Last night she went 6 hours without waking up or having an accident in her crate! It was a blissful 6 hours of sleep for us! The first week Sadie was home, we got up every two hours to take her to the bathroom. The only thing we are struggling with is biting! She loves to bite and chew on furniture. We have to constantly watch her or she will be eating the table, couch, etc. We will be happy once she is out of this stage!
