22 Weeks

I am 22 weeks today!

How Far Along: 22 weeks
Size of baby: The length of a spaghetti squash
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 7 pounds
Maternity Clothes: I wear both. I love my maternity jeans- so comfy!!
Gender: BOY!!!
Movement: Yes, I feel him fluttering around all the time
Sleep: Pretty good
What I miss: Nothing really
Cravings: Nothing really
Symptoms: Heartburn
Best Moment this week: Shopping for clothes with my mom! I can't wait for him to wear all of this cute stuff!

Dad's Birthday

Sunday we went out to Mom and Dad's to celebrate Dad's birthday. Dad and Stephen played golf and Mom and I went shopping for the baby. Aaron had to work, so he came out later.

Mom and I went to Macy's then Baby Gap and got some really cute things!

We came back home and started getting dinner together. We were having a luau. We made fruit k bobs, shish k bobs, steak, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob. It was all so wonderful!! The fruit k bobs turned out so cute! I can't wait to make them for our next party.

After dinner we opened gifts. We got Dad some coasters for his new music room and some Cowboys tervis tumblers. Aaron got dad a hat and beatles shirt. And Mom got him a microphone and microphone stand.

Then we had cake! Mom got trick candles, which was good since I missed him blowing them out the first time, I had a few more chances :)!!

We all had such a fun day and the weather could not have been more perfect!

Happy Birthday Dad, I hope it was a good one!

21 Weeks

I am 21 weeks!

How Far Along: 21 weeks

Gender: BOY!!!
Movement: Yes, I feel him fluttering around all the time
Sleep: Not very good this week. I seem to toss and turn a lot and have to get up a few times to use the bathroom
What I miss: Nothing really this week
Cravings: Nothing really
Symptoms: Heartburn and being really gaggy
Best Moment this week: Finding out we are having a boy and seeing him on the ultrasound

Steve's birthday in Palestine

We spent the weekend in Palestine celebrating Steve's 60th birthday! It was a gorgeous weekend!

Saturday after breakfast we all went outside to enjoy the weather. Everyone rode around some, but since I can't ride Shelley was nice enought to hang out with me.

Steve, Stephen, Taylor and Cameron went on a bike ride and were gone a long time. Poor Cameron's behind was quite sore when they got back!!



We grilled hamburgers for lunch





Shelley got them this house for Christmas so we walked over to the pier pond so she could show me it on the tree. Isn't it cute!!



We got them some tree faces for Christmas so we walked to a trail to see one of them on the tree.



There were a few little flowers starting to grow. I LOVE Spring!!!

We all went down to see Harley the goat and Mike and Taylor clipped his nails




Sadie was doing everything in her power to figure out a way to get inside that pen to play with the goat.

The moon was amazing!! It was the closest and brightest it has been in over 20 years! This picture does not do it justice.




Shelley and Cameron danced on the porch while we waited for dinner.




After dinner, we celebrated Steve's birthday.

We had such a great weekend! I am so glad Stephen has every other Saturday off so we can spend many more weekends in Palestine! Being with Taylor and Cameron makes me so excited to have a boy. They may be messy and dirty, but they sure are a lot of fun!! We are always laughing and having a good time with them!

It's a BOY!!

We are having a little boy! We are so excited! He looks perfect! He was moving so much during the ultrasound. At one point she was measuring his head and he started on the left side of my stomach and moved all the way to the right. At one point he waved a us and then opened his whole hand.

20 Weeks

I am 20 weeks today!! We find out this afternoon if we will be having a boy or a girl! I can't wait!! I really feel like it is a boy so we will see! I am also really excited to see the baby. We haven't seen Baby P in 10 weeks! I always get anxious before my appointments thinking what if something is wrong, etc. But everything is always fine so I am trying to calm myself today and remind myself that everything is going to be ok.

Size of baby: The size of a banana
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Not sure, I haven't weighed myself this week.
Maternity Clothes: I wear both. I am loving my maternity jeans and the few maternity shirts I have.
Gender: Don't know, we find out today!
Movement: Yes!! Last week I thought I was feeling the baby, but then on Saturday I knew for sure it was the baby. It is the neatest feeling! Saturday I could feel a lot of movement, but after that it has slowed down some.
Sleep: I've been sleeping good
What I miss: Nothing really this week
Cravings: Nothing really
Symptoms: Heartburn is really the only thing this week. Tums are my new best friend
Best Moment this week: Feeling the baby move

Rascal Flatts

We saw Rascal Flatts last night at the rodeo. They were great! We had seen them before and I was shocked at how well they sang live. They were equally as good this time, but they put on more of a "performance", and it was a lot of fun! They really got the crowd going!

19 Weeks

I am 19 weeks!! This week my stomach seemed to have gotten much bigger. Each day it feels larger and larger.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Lost 8 pounds- I've gotten my appetite back this week!!
Maternity Clothes: Maternity jeans and a few maternity shirts. I can still wear my regular clothes, but I needed some new clothes so I decided to get a few maternity things that I can wear throughout the summer.
Gender: Don't know, we find out in one week!!! I can't wait!
Movement: Every now and then I think I feel something. It just feels different, but I'm not sure if it's the baby or not.
Sleep: I've been sleeping good.
What I miss: Nothing really this week.
Cravings: Nothing really, I'm a little burned out on lemonade.
Symptoms: Things have gotten better this week. My appetite has come back and I'm not gagging nearly as much.
Best Moment this week: Just "feeling" more pregnant as my belly grows!

First Saturday Off

This Saturday was Stephen's first day off with his new job! We are both still in shock that he will be home every other Saturday.

We had such a busy week so Friday night Stephen picked up BBQ on his way home and we ate it and watched Love and Other Drugs. I went to sleep afterwards and Stephen stayed up to watch Faster.

We had to get up early Saturday morning. A guy was coming to fix a stratch on the crib and Stephen took my car to the Ford store to get the oil changed and the brake light fixed. I then ran a few errands and we met at Chili's for lunch. As we were leaving, a family of 4 was walking in and I told Stephen that before I would see families on a Saturday and be so sad, but now I'm not because he will be with us every other Saturday. It just makes me so happy!!

We headed home and I took a 4 hour nap!! I couldn't believe I slept that long, but we had a really busy week and I guess my body needed it! Stephen played XBOX and went to Best Buy. Then we got ready and went and met Aaron, Russell, Heather, Brian, Ali, David, Clarrisa, Justin, Jason and Giovanna for bowling! It was lots of fun! We stayed out so late though and didn't get home until 1am. I am glad I had that long nap, because I was exhauasted!!

We both slept in Sunday and it was wonderful! We got up and went and had lunch and drove over to Steve and Nancy's to get the parking pass for the rodeo this week. We headed home and drove around our neighborhood for a little. It was such a gorgeous day, neither of us wanted to go home. It was so beautiful outside and as we drove around the neighborhood I just kept thinking about taking a walk with the baby on pretty days, going to the park, bike rides, and picnics. I can't wait for all of that, but I have to remind myself to enjoy this time right now. It's never going to be just the two of us again- well for at least 20 or so years!! I can't wait for everything that is in store for us, but I am really enjoying this time right now, just the two of us!!

We came home and relaxed and had a low key Sunday evening. It was such a great weekend! I am looking forward to many more!!

Clay Walker

We went to see Clay Walker this year at the Rodeo! He was so good, I just love him! We went with my parents and had a great night!

18 Weeks

I say this every week, but I really can not believe I am 18 weeks today!

Movement: None yet, I hope I start feeling some movement soon.
Sleep: I've been sleeping good.
What I miss: Nothing really this week.
Cravings: Still hooked on lemonade
Symptoms: Really, really gaggy. Brushing my teeth and swallowing pills is awful!!
Best Moment this week: Our 5 year anniversary!
