Today is Easter Sunday! We had a great day and feel so grateful for all of the blessings in our life. This morning we went to church at Harvest Methodist in Sienna. The service was supposed to be at the amphitheater, but the weather was bad so they had the services at the middle school. It was the first time we have been to this church and while the message was really good, I don't think we liked the music to much. I think we are going to try a more traditional church, but we may try going back to Harvest again.
After church we headed over to my parents house. The weather was horrible and we could barely see right in front of us part of the time. But when we got to my parents house, the rain had stopped and the sun was coming out. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and when we were driving home there was not a cloud in the sky.
We had lunch and then played Cranium. Aaron and Stephen beat Mom, Dad, and I! It was a lot of fun. Then we watched the rest of the Masters golf tournament which turned into an exciting finish.
On our way home, Stephen and I stopped by the cemetary to see Mama Lil. The weather was absolutley gorgeous at this time and the cemetary was beautiful. Easter is a hard time of year for me not only because that is when Mama Lil passed away 5 years ago, but I have such great Easter memories with her. She will be forever missed!
