A busy Saturday

Saturday was our neighborhood garage sale. I went out about 8:30 and I started at the back of the neighborhood. By the time I went to one house, it started raining. It was pouring! People were running to their cars and putting the garage sale stuff up. Most people just found some cover and it continued to drizzle. I drove around to see if I wanted to stop. I stopped at a few places when the rain dyed down. Almost 2 hours later and I only bought a picture frame for a dollar. I really like it though.

After the garage sales, I went to Lowes and Houston Garden Center to get some flowers for the yard. I planted some in pots for the front door and back patio. Then I planted some around the big flower beds.
Stephen had been off Friday so he fertilized and took the stakes out of the big trees. The yard looks so much better without the stakes. I can't wait to take the others out.
After planting flowers, I pruned the oak trees and trimmed the bushes. Then I cleaned everything up and swept out the garage and sprayed down the drive-way. It was such a gorgeous day out after the rain. Not hot, not cold. Just perfect!

We have some knock out roses in our cul-d-sac and they were so pretty in the light of the sun set so I took some pictures of them.

I finally went in around 8 and took a shower. Stephen got home around 9 and we went to eat at Chilis and then came home and crashed! We were both exhausted!
