Galveston

Stephen was off Saturday and I have been really wanting to go to Galveston so we decided that this would probably be our last chance this summer since it will be so hot and I will be hugely pregnant! So we headed down around 9:30. Once we got to Galveston, the pocket park I wanted to go to was closed! I was so bummed. All of the public beach access areas were full of seaweed and just gross so we drove down the seawall. By this time it was packed and I was already getting hungry. We decided just to head to the strand to walk around.



We shopped a while, but didn't buy anything. We also saw Adam and Jess! They were just coming down to pick up a butterfly display Jess had made. It was so hot and windy and after walking I was exhausted! We stopped and got some taffy and then headed over to Shrimp n Stuff for lunch. It was so good!





Even though the day didn't go exactly as I had planned, it was still a good day! Just spending the day with Stephen was great! I just love his new schedule!
