Christmas Lights

Your not going to see any pictures of christmas lights in this post, sorry! But I titled this post as such because this was our annual christmas light tour night! Steve, Nancy, Shelley, Taylor, Cameron and Brook all came over and we went to dinner and then Stephen took them all out to look at christmas lights. Our neighborhood has the best lights and one of Stephen and I's favorite things to do in December is go out looking at lights. This year has been a little more difficult with a baby who is not too fond of his car seat, but we have gotten out some to look at lights. I hope next year Stephen will be big enough to enjoy them!

After dinner everyone came back to our house to load up on hot chocolate. I got to go cups and Nancy brought some homeade hot chocolate. This year I made a hot chocolate bar with chocolate chips, peppermint sticks, marshmallows and crushed peppermint. Everyone loved it!

Here is my cup. I like to keep it simple with a peppermint stick that melted and a few marshmallows.

After everyone left to go look at lights Stephen got a bath, bottle and then went to bed! He missed his late afternoon nap so he was tired, but I did get a few smiles in the bathtub.







Even when he is tired, he is just the best baby! We are so blessed with this baby boy!
