Our Weekend

We had a really nice weekend.  I was going to take pictures all weekend, but my allergies have been awful and I just didn't feel up to it. I love Spring, but this pollen is killing me!

Saturday, Stephen and I had a great day!  We went to the park twice, played outside in the front, worked in the garage, and relaxed.  It was perfect!

Sunday morning we all got up and went to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel.  It was great!  Then we went to a park in Pearland.  It was cloudy and had been sprinkling a little, but the rain held off for us.

Whenever Stephen goes up to this spot he always tells me he is so high.  He wanted Daddy to come high with him.

Then he wanted Daddy to go down the slide with him.  Daddy said no so he started pulling on his shirt.

There were two boys there who were 6 and 7 and they were playing hide and seek.  One of them was sitting on this slide covering his eyes and counting while the other hid.  Stephen was watching them very closely and after he got up, Stephen went and sat down, covered his eyes, and started counting.

After the park we ran to the grocery store and then home.  Stephen took a nap and Stephen and I watched the Masters and did some stuff around the house.  I am so happy I am getting my energy back!  I used to either nap while Stephen napped or just sit and do nothing because I was just so exhausted, but now I have the energy to get stuff done while he is napping!  This is great because our house has been a disaster for two months.  Heaven forbid anyone else do any laundry or dishes!!

I also made a meal for Stephen and I to have Monday night and froze half for another night.  I am hoping to do that more because it is just so hard to cook during the week and I am hoping to do this in the future so we will have a stockpile when the baby comes.  I can't even imagine cooking dinner with a 3 year old and a newborn!  AHHHHHHH!  The rare nights that Stephen is home for dinner time it is so amazing!  I wish he were home every night for dinner.

Stephen woke up and watched some of the Masters with us.  He was so cute!  Every time someone would hit the ball, he would say "get in the hole ball" and if it didn't go in the hole, he would say "awww man".

After about 30 minutes of watching golf, Stephen was getting antsy and wanted to go play.  So we went out into the garage and he played while Stephen and I organized.  Our garage is the catch all for anything we don't know where to put.  We threw a bunch of stuff away and sold some things on our neighborhood group.  I also organized our shelves.  We still have some more work to do, but hopefully soon, it will be in great shape!

We were planning on cooking dinner at home, but in thinking about food for the week, we completely forgot to get food for Sunday night dinner so we ran out quickly to Chilis and had dinner and then stopped for ice cream.   We came home and watched the end of the Masters to see Bubba Watson pull out another win!

We really needed a nice weekend.  We have been so busy and we have something to do every single weekend until June 7th!!  But it is all really fun and exciting stuff that we can't wait for!
