The weekend after New Years, I went to Galveston for Courtney's bachelorette party. It was cold and rainy, but we still had a lot of fun!
We stayed in a house on the beach and here was the view.

We shopped all day Saturday and then went to dinner and The Spot for drinks.

The sun came out Sunday morning just as we were leaving.

Avery all bundled up for the park.

He fell asleep in the car on our way to the park and when I saw his hands like this, I had to take a picture.

He woke up as soon as I moved him to the stroller.

Usually Stephen is bored at the park if there are no other kids there, but today he entertained himself well and had lots of fun!

He wanted to push the stroller back to the car.

Lately, whenever I am holding him and he asleep, I just have to take his picture. I know these days will be gone soon and I just don't want to forget this view.

Avery is doing so good with tummy time.

Stephen got in Avery's play mat. Avery looks terrified.

A late night rocking my baby.

One super cold Sunday, we went to Memorial City mall to walk around and let Stephen play and get some energy out. The play place was packed and there was even a line to get in, so we found some other things to occupy him.

The last time we were there, we couldn't ride the train, because I had Avery in the stroller and wasn't going to leave my stroller while we rode so this was a treat to get to ride the train. Daddy and Avery walked around while Stephen and I rode the train.

When we first started going Stephen said, "hey look at me guys, I'm riding the train." to people walking by.

Then he started looking for Daddy and would say "Daddy where are you" in a soft, singy voice. It was very cute!

Avery often falls asleep during his night bottle right before bed.

He usually wakes up when we burp him, but this night he was so exhausted he couldn't even hold his head up to burp.

One day I picked Stephen up from school and we got home around 2:30. He was so tired he fell asleep . It was time for Avery to eat and I had a bottle in the diaper bag, so I just fed Avery in the front seat and let Stephen sleep.

Normally when he wakes up from sleeping in the car, he is awake and will not go back to sleep, but this day he told me he was still tired. I asked him if he wanted to go lay in our bed and he said yes. I figured he would ask me to put the tv on, but he didn't. He fell back asleep and I had to wake him up at 4 so he would still go to bed that night.

Avery loves his seat that Nana got him for Christmas.

Courtney's wedding. We are so happy for her and Chris!!

My parents watched the boys for us and it was a treat to be out together alone. We realized need more date nights!

We stayed at my parents house that weekend and the next morning we facetimed Aunt Linette.

That afternoon, Stephen went to Olivia's birthday party at a Gymnastics gym. Olivia is in pink of the left.

Avery focuses so hard on his toys when he is playing.

Stephen talking to Avery.

I love these little crossed hands.

The only way dinner got made one night. Avery is generally a very happy baby, but when he wants to be held, he wants to be held and will scream and cry until I pick him up. (The grocery bags in the background are food I gave to our maid- we gave up wheat, sugar and dairy and I cleaned out our pantry).

He was trying so hard to eat this butterfly.

Jessica took this picture of Stephen and Aaron. They switched sunglasses. Two cool dudes!

Chik fil A on a cold Saturday.

He is so cute in his robe!

This boy loves bath time!! He can be so fussy and tired but is happy as can be in his bath.

One week at school, it was teddy bear week and they got to bring a teddy bear each day and did fun stuff with them all week. Thursday they got to have a picnic and watch a teddy bear movie.

I have some more cell phone pictures to post but am going to do a "week in the life" post with them.
