Monday morning we were headed to Costco and I got the boys ready and then laid Avery on my bed so I could get ready and 5 minutes later he was alseep. He does NOT sleep unswaddled or by himself during the day, so I was shocked! He must have been exhausted from Kemah the night before.
He even stayed asleep when I transferred him to his car seat.
We went to Costco and shopped and then came home and put away all the groceries, had lunch, and everyone got a nap. Avery normally falls asleep during his night time bottle just before bed, but today he fell asleep during his 2:00 bottle.
Tuesday I picked Stephen up from school and we got home around 2:30. It was a beautiful day so he played in the garage while I fed Avery.

We went on a bike ride/ walk after Avery finished his bottle.
Tired boy fell asleep during his 5:00 bottle this day. (He is not wearing clothes because he was so hot from being outside).
Stephen was tired too after a long day of school and then playing outside, so he made himself a palate on the floor to watch Curious George while I fed Avery.
Still asleep even after I took the bottle out of his mouth.
Stephen wanted to help me with dinner that night, so I gave him some green beans to snap.
Wednesday is a short day of school for Stephen and he gets out at noon. We came home and ate lunch and then naps. After naps, we went outside to play since it was a gorgeous day! We are loving the weather this week!
We played outside until the sun went down.
Thursday was pirate day at school.
I love my time with this boy while brother is at school. I have time to hold him while he naps and play with him without any distractions.
That afternoon, we went back outside to play. When the weather is this nice, you play outside!!
Avery was being too cute as I snapped pictures of him.
Stephen drove his truck and we met a new friend who lives a street over. Stephen is so social and just goes up to everyone and says hi. He waves to every person and car we pass.
Since this week was the end of the month, we didn't see much of Daddy. Thursday he came home a little early (it's sad we consider 6:15 early, but we do appreciate how hard he works for us!) and drove up as we were headed home.
Friday morning we tried to brave the park but it was so cold and windy. Avery was upset and I couldn't get him to calm down so we headed to chik fil a, so Stephen could play and we could eat lunch there.
Once home everyone got naps. I didn't swaddle Avery and thought his little hand on my arms was too cute!
His hair is just crazy!
I don't ever want to forget this view! So thankful for these moments.
Friday afternoon, I was folding laundry when Stephen woke up from his nap and he said he wanted to help me. After we finished the laundry, we picked up toys and vacuumed. Stephen has a play vacuum, but he loves to us the real one.
Then we read books.
Avery was so cute holding his bottle that night. We still hold it for him, but he puts his hands on it. (Didn't want anyone thinking I made my 4 month old hold his own bottle!)
Avery got his first teething toy Friday night! He loves it!
We were having a picnic dinner in the living room and Avery was not happy laying down and insisted I hold him.

Saturday morning I put Avery down for a nap in his crib and Stephen and I played in the backyard. I have a bunch of great pictures of this on my big camera that I will post separately. Avery only slept 30 minutes and then got his leg out of his swaddle and stuck in the slats in his bed! I don't know what to do about this child and naps!! At least he sleeps 11 hours at night!!!
Avery was upset and cranky so I put him in the stroller and we went on a long bike ride/ walk which was great because he slept, I got some exercise, and Stephen was worn out by riding his bike.

That afternoon we just played inside. I laid Avery down for some tummy time and he wasn't happy about it. Stephen went over and laid next to him and said "it's ok Avery, you can do it.". He is seriously the BEST big brother!!! I hope these two are best friends for life!
I was exhausted Saturday night!!! The last week of the month is so rough because Stephen works so much! But even though I was exhausted, I was happy it was Saturday night which meant the last week of the month was over and tomorrow was Sunday and Daddy would be home all day!!!!!
I thought is was supposed to rain all day on Sunday, but we woke up to beautiful weather! And both boys slept until 8 am!!!
I made breakfast and then we all went to the park. Last week we were freezing and this week we were in shorts and short sleeves! We are loving this weather!
We had a ton of fun at the zip line park and then went to the big hill in our neighborhood and walked around.
It was a hard, yet fun week!
