Round Top

April and I drove to Round Top on Saturday. There is a HUGE antique show in Round Top and about 10 surrounding towns every fall and spring. It is about an hour and a half drive and as soon as we were driving in, it started raining, no pouring! We got out at the Big Red Barn only to walk in mud, get wet and flip mud all over the back of our dresses. Lovely! Plus, it cost $10 to get in. So we got back in the truck and drove to Warrenton, the town just past Round Top. By then it had stopped raining and we found a nice parking lot. We had a great afternoon walking around and found some great things. I have seen these vintage coke crates at Pottery Barn, but they cost $24. Plus, I wanted a Coke crate, not Pepsi. So I found one for $10. I was so excited! I also got a vintage window for $10 and a cross for our cross wall for $10. We walked and walked until we had to turn around because we could have walked all day long. On our way back, we stopped at La Bahia, which was classic antiques and less our style, so we headed back home! It was a fun trip and I will definitely go back in the Spring.
