Stephen was off Friday, so he and Aaron played golf in our neighborhood. Then, Marci was coming in to town so Stephen met his mom and Marci for lunch. We had family night with my parents at Studio Movie Grille and saw Whip It!
Saturday, I picked up Marci and April and we went to Chappell Hill to the Scarecrow Festival. It was cloudy and overcast, but we had a great time. I got a cute wooden candy corn to stick in a flower pot. We dropped off April and then Marcia and I picked up Zach and Mady. Stephen got off early Saturday night so we all met him at Sweet Mesquite for dinner. When we got back home we played a couple of rounds of Catch Phrase and then started a movie. Everyone except for Stephen fell asleep during the movie! We were exhausted!
Sunday started off great with donuts and kolaches! We hung around the house all morning which was so nice. I took some pictures of Madison and then the girls went to the grocery store. Alisa came over and we grilled hamburgers. I had a great time with Stephen's sisters, niece and nephew. After Alisa and the kids left, we watched the Texans game and then took Marci back to his Mom's house. We talked with his Mom and Jim for awhile and then headed home.
It was a busy weekend, but so much fun! I am so blessed to have such wonderful sisters in law, nieces and nephews. I love spending time with them!
