The pout

Stephen has started giving us the pout when he is not happy. I hate to see him upset, but when he turns out that lip out it really is cute! He only does this when he is waiting for his bottle (he has to wait 3 minutes for it to heat up) or when he is being burped (which he hates and is usually more of a scream at the top of his lungs than a little pout!)

It starts out with just a little frown:

Then a bigger frown:

Then the lip pops out:

And then with eyes closed, it is a very dramatic pout!

And when that doesn't work, he just yells at me:

But then I make him happy and he gives me a cute face!

And before anyone thinks I am a horrible parent for taking pictures of my son while he was upset instead of consoling him, all of these pictures were taken within 15 seconds and I just HAD to document this pout! After he yelled at me and gave me the eyes that said, "are you seriously taking my picture right now?", I picked him up and loved on him!
