Seeping in his crib

Friday night I started a program called Moms On Call. It is an online seminar that helps you get your baby on schedule, sleeping in their crib, and sleeping through the night. Until today, Stephen has not slept well anywhere except on us. When we put him in his pack in play, he wakes up most of the time, but if he does sleep it is not for long. In order to get any rest, we started just sleeping with him while sitting in our big chair. This way we were able to get at least 4 hours of sleep or so.

After doing the online seminar last night, I swaddled Stephen and put him in his crib for his morning nap. He slept there for almost 2 hours!!!! I couldn't believe it. I think I stared at the monitor the entire two hours in disbelief. And partly wondering if he was still breathing!

He took all of his naps in his crib today and even went to sleep at night in his crib. I can't believe it was as simple as swaddling him! We are hoping this helps all of us get more sleep around here!

I took some pictures of Stephen while Stephen (so confusing, but alas Stephen insists on calling our son Stephen!) was holding him. I thought he looked so cute!



Then we headed over to see Steve and Nancy. Shelley and the boys ended up coming over too. It was great seeing all of them!
