Halloween

We continued our tradition and went over to Steve and Nancy's for Halloween this year. It's always so much fun with everyone!

We got there before everyone else, so Stephen hung out with Papaw for a while.

Nancy and Shelley decorated the front porch so good. The additional of the spider web this year was awesome! They also had a fog machine, but it wouldn't work :(

Steve was trying to get a good background and put Stephen by this tree. He was not too happy!

Steve blew up some baggies for us to "puff" up his costume, so I took a few more pictures.

And then he was DONE!

We had a great Halloween night with everyone!

Football and Pumpkins

Stephen wore his Texans onesie today to cheer them on! We added some football baby legs and he was so cute!

I laid him down on the floor to play with him while Stephen watched the game and I got up for a second and he immediately turned his head back to watch tv. So funny!

The Texans won! YAY!

After the game we went to the grocery store. There was a pumpkin patch at a church on the way so we stopped to take Stephen's picture.

3 Months

Stephen is 3 months old today! I can't believe it!

Here is what he has been up to this month:

* We need to weigh him on our scale. We will do it this weekend and I'll add it here.

* He can still wear 0-3 month clothes, but they are getting tight! He mostly wears 3-6 month clothes and a few 9 month things, but they are big.

* He eats 5 ounces every 3 hours.

* He is getting better at being burped. He doesn't cry like he used to.

* He wore a size 1 diaper for about half the month and then we went up to size 2, but they are big. He will wear his first cloth diaper today!

*He is sleeping through the night!!! YAY! We put him down around 9:30-10 and he sleeps until 6:30-7:30. Every now and then he has a bad night, but that is only about once a week.

* He still likes to be swaddled for his naps and likes his woombie to sleep in at night.

* He still loves to be held and we love to hold him!

* He only takes his pacifier when he is going to sleep. Sometimes he will suck on it a while and other times he spits it out soon after he falls asleep.

*He still loves his bath! We give him a bath every night as part of his night time routine. He can be fussy and crying and as soon as he gets in the bath he is content and happy!

* He is holding his head up so well! He can hold it up all on his own now!

* He started smiling at us this month and just this week started laughing. Hearing him laugh is the best thing ever!!!

* He is the happiest, best baby! The only time he is fussy is when he is hungry or really tired. Other than that he is always happy.

We fall more in love with this baby boy every second of every day! He brings so much joy to Stephen and I. I can't imagine our lives without him!

This afternoon, he wore his first cloth diaper. It is so cute! And soft!

I've been taking his picture in his glider every month, but I don't think I ever posted the past two months. I will have to edit those and post them. It's amazing how big he is compared to 1 month.

Happy 3 month birthday Stephen! You are the light of our lives! We love you!

Almost 3 months

As usual it was just another week around here, although someone did turn 3 months old on Friday! That will be it's own blog post!

Our cloth diapers came in the mail! I am so excited to start using them!

He was sleeping so peacefully this evening and then started smiling. So sweet!

Thursday:

Hayden came over for a while. Stephen couldn't stop looking at Hayden, but Hayden wanted nothing to do with Stephen. That's ok, one day they will be buddies!









Tomorrow our baby boy turns 3 months old! I can't believe it!

Tired baby

Today we have one tired baby! Stephen was SO good at the rehearsal and wedding, but it wore him out. Today he has taken long naps and just hung out with us. He was cuddling with Stephen and then started stretching and it was too cute!

The Wedding

Today is the big day! Aaron and Jessica are getting married!

Then it was time to party at the reception! We had so much fun all night and so did Aaron and Jessica. They just seemed so happy all night!
