Toys R Us tantrum

I took Stephen to Toys R Us to look for a booster seat for him.  We ventured over to the toy area where he saw an end cap of balls and started going crazy.

He was so happy that I let him hold the ball, but then he promptly threw it out of the cart.

He did this a few more times and after chasing the ball around the store, I wouldn't let him have it back.   The ball was only $2 and we don't have any large balls like this, so I was going to buy it for him so I just held it instead of giving it back to him to throw.

He didn't like that one bit!

And two seconds later, he was happy again when I let him have the ball back.

It was our first tantrum in a store and really is wasn't very bad.  Even though he looks possessed in the above picture, it didn't last long.  I put the ball in the main part of the cart and he was fine with it being there.  But I certainly did get a glimpse of what tantrums in the store will be like in our future.
