Prayers

This has been one doozy of a month.  We have had a lot of health scares in our family this month.  Stephen's grandma was in the hospital for a very serious condition earlier this month, Stephen III got pneumonia last week, and my Papaw is in the hospital right now with shingles.  They are all going to be ok, but it has been a lot to deal with.  Stephen's Dad is currently in the hospital in very critical condition.

A week ago today around 3:30 in the afternoon, Stephen called me crying.  His dad was being rushed to the ER and he was scared to death.  Steve is now in ICU fighting for this life.  He is in very critical condition, but he is hanging in there.  It has been an extremely hard week, but I know that he is going to pull through this.

If you are reading this and would pray for our family, we would appreciate it.  Please pray for Steve to be healed and for comfort for Nancy and all of our family during this difficult time.  We love Steve so much and look forward to the day he is completely healed.

It is amazing how quickly your life can change.  One day we were on vacation in beautiful Destin and the next day Stephen was scared to death he was going to lose his Dad.  I know it sounds cliche, but don't take a single day for granted.  Put down your cell phone and be present.  Make sure the ones you care about know how much you care about them and love them.

I am going to get caught up with older blogs now, but felt like I needed to update everyone (although most people who read this probably already know that this is going on).  Thank you all for your positive thoughts and prayers and support during this time.  We appreciate it more than you know!
