Kitchen Helper

Stephen loves helping me in the kitchen and anytime I'm making something he immediately pulls up a chair to help me.  I love that he wants to help me cook, but our chairs slip on the tile floor and it makes me a nervous wreck that he is going to fall.  I've seen this thing called the Kitchen Helper and have been wanting it, but it is a little expensive, so I've never bought it.  But, I decided to bite the bullet and just buy one.

The weekend before Christmas, Stephen was off Saturday and Sunday and we had nothing planned!  Amazing!  That hasn't happened in probably 3 months!  Saturday, we got up and went to see Steve and then came home and let Stephen nap and then Stephen put together the Kitchen Helper, along with his construction helper.

He loves the visitor stickers we get when we go visit Papaw and wears them all day long.

Stephen was trying to keep him away from all the screws so none of them would get lost, but Stephen still snuck one or two.

Reading the directions.  Papa would be so proud!

It's done!  Yay!  He can even climb into it himself.

We took it into the kitchen to try it out.

Stephen pulled the cookie jar a little closer so he cold talk to Santa.

That afternoon we watched Home Alone.  We love this movie!   It was Stephen's first time to watch it.  He didn't really watch it though, he just mostly played and then would stop every now and then and watch for a minute.  When it got time for the bad guys to break into the house, we told him to come watch with us and he did not like it at all and would make fake crying noises and cover his mouth when they got hurt.  Sweet boy!!

He brought down his suitcase earlier that day and wheeled it around all day.

After a diaper change, he did not want to put another on.  And he's wearing my Uggs.

The next day, I was washing dishes and he wanted to be with me, so I pulled up his Kitchen Helper and let him draw and use stickers.  I think we are going to love this thing!
