10 Weeks

I am 10 weeks so  I am going to start my pregnancy updates now.

This pregnancy has been really hard.  Much harder than when I was pregnant with Stephen.  I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have a 2 year old this time around.  When I was pregnant with Stephen, I would come home from work and fall asleep.  Now, I have a 2 year old I have to take care of until 8 pm at which time I collapse.  My house is a disaster and I haven't blogged in forever.  I am just trying to make it through the day!  There will be time later to clean and blog.

I have also been much more nauseous this time around.  I have tried a few holistic remedies as well as two prescriptions and they all work ok, but not great.

I really just wanted to document all of that for memory sake, but I am certainly not complaining.  I am so grateful to be pregnant and actually having these symptoms is ok because it makes me "feel" pregnant.  I can't see or feel the baby right now, so having some sign that I really am pregnant is nice.

Ok, here is my first pregnancy update.

How Far Along: 10 Weeks
Size of baby: The size of a prune
Maternity Clothes: None yet, but my regular clothes are getting pretty uncomfortable.  I mainly just wear dresses.
Gender: Don't know.  Most people have told us that they really want us to have a girl.  I understand why they are saying that, but really we just want a healthy baby.  Boy or girl, we don't care, just a healthy baby!  I don't want people to be disappointed if this baby is a boy because we will love a boy just as much as a girl!
Movement: None yet
Sleep: Pretty good
What I miss: Nothing
Cravings: Italian food
Aversion: Meat
Symptoms: I have been so very tired and have had morning sickness that lasts until about 3 pm.
Best Moment this week: Playing with Stephen at the park
