Saturday morning I decided I wanted to document our entire weekend. I hadn't done that in a while and was missing it. So I started taking pictures early Saturday morning.
Stephen I went outside bright and early to play. He wanted to kick the soccer ball to me but was having a hard time because it kept falling down the sidewalk. He refused to play in the grass like I suggested.

So got the basketball so he could just throw it to me. He actually knows how you play with different balls and knows that a soccer ball is to kick so he wouldn't just throw it to me, he had to get a different ball.

Then he rode his bike some. He was yelling, "Roar" to me.

He also rode his scooter. Here is a video:
It was about 10:30 am and he said he wanted to come inside and watch Caliou. He got right on the couch and settled in.

And that is where the picture stop because the stomach bug hit us hard!
It actually started on Thursday. I threw up while working on Thursday, but felt fine afterwards and even still ate dinner. Thursday night around midnight (I guess that would really be Friday morning) Stephen woke up throwing up. He got a bath and we changed his sheets and blankets and then he threw up three more times. We ended up moving his mattress to the gameroom and covered it with a towel (we were out of sheets at this point) and I slept on the couch next to him. He threw up until 5 am, but then woke up at 8 happy and had some energy. Friday was a good day for both of us. We both felt fine.
So back to Saturday. Around 10am, Stephen started texting me from work saying he was really sick. He isn't one to leave work and it was the last Saturday of the month so he was really trying to stick it out, but around noon he came home. He got right in bed. When Stephen woke up from his nap, we went to meet my friend Ki for an early dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. My stomach wasn't feeling the best, but that is pretty typical for me right now, so I didn't think much of it. Stephen refused to eat anything, even the bread, which was odd, and as soon as I finished my salad, I had to run to the bathroom and barely made it in time before I got sick. We came straight home.
I felt awful at this point and collapsed onto the couch. Thankfully Stephen had gotten some rest by now and even though he still felt bad, he was able to get up and help me with Stephen. I don't know what I would have done if he wasn't home. I could barely move and kept throwing up. I was really worried about getting dehydrated since I am pregnant, so I was trying to sip water and sprite, but anytime I would take a tiny sip, I would get sick. Around 2:30 am, I heard Stephen crying on the monitor and looked at it to see him sitting up and throwing up in his bed. Stephen and I both went up and got him all cleaned up and just decided to move to the game room for the night. I tried to take some Zofran and just taking a tiny sip of water to swallow the pill made me sick again. At this point, I was literally telling Stephen I was dying. I was in so much pain and I felt like the blood was draining from my body. After I got sick, I ended up feeling better and we all got a little sleep.
After that, no one got sick anymore. Sunday, we all just laid around all morning watching Toy Story and Caliou and trying to keep some liquids down. I slept for a few hours and was finally about to eat some soup and crackers that afternoon. Stephen woke up from his nap with tons of energy and wanted to go play so we all got outside for a little bit Sunday night and it was so gorgeous outside! I was so sad we spent this gorgeous weekend inside sick.
It was a pretty awful bug and in the end, Stephen lost 8 pounds and I lost 6. It took me a few days to start feeling better again and eating normal food without my stomach hurting or feeling nauseous.
