Alligator

Stephen was on his way home last night and called me and said he was on McKeever waiting for the cops to get there. I immediately thought he must have gotten in a wreck and asked what happened. He said there was an alligator in the middle of the road and he thinks a car may have hit it and fallen in the ditch. He didn't want anyone else to hit it.

So I jump up and grab my camera and race over there, hoping to beat the cops so I could get a peek. I could not believe how HUGE this thing was. And it was only a mile from our house! This was crazy! I tried to get out to take a picture, but Stephen yelled at me to get back in the car. So I stuck my camera out the window to get a picture.

I thought the alligator was dead (hence the reason I got out of my car), but it turns out he was alive. Stephen stayed out there quite a while and this guy came up and tried to move the tail and it snapped at him. Scary!
