NYC- Tuesday

When we first arrived in New York, we made our way to the hotel and got checked in. Then we took the subway down to Southstreet Seaport and found something to eat.

We decided on Uno's pizza and it was a great choice. This is actually Chicago style pizza and was a true deep dish. It was FABULOUS!!!!

We then walked down to Pier 11 to catch the water taxi to the Yankees game.

This was such a great idea because we had a fantastic view of the city from the East River.

The new Yankee Stadium. They are building Heritage Park where the old stadium was. Hertitage Park will be three little league fields all in one.

We got to see Lance Berkman play. It was sad to see him leave Houston, the last of the Killer B's.

The game was so much fun! We had great seats and once the sun went down the weather was nice. We really had a great time even though the Yankees lost.

We took the subway back into the city and got off at Rockefeller center.

Since we had eaten early we decided to stop by Stage Deli for a late night snack. Stephen had a half sandwich and I had a piece of cheesecake. The cheesecake here is HUGE!! I took this piece back to the hotel and ate a few bites every night and still did not eat all of it!

After we left Stage Deli, we walked through Times Square and to our hotel.
