A glorious weekend- Saturday

*This post refers to Saturday 3/3. I'm still in catch up mode- sorry!*

Saturday I woke up feeling better than I have in three weeks. It's amazing what one antibiotic pill, some cough medicine and some sleep can do for you! The weather was beautiful outside and I opened all of the blinds downstairs. I wanted to take some good pictures of Stephen since I had been using my phone all week so I got out my big camera and took pictures. Over the whole weekend I took over 500 pictures! Yes, you read that right, 500!!!! Of course some of them are blurry, some are the exact same pose just taken 3 times, etc. but I still got a ton of super cute pictures. So grab a drink, maybe a snack, and sit back and enjoy a ton of pictures from our wonderful weekend!

Since I have so many pictures I am going to break this weekend up into two posts. So this is Saturday.

After his morning bottle, we played.

Stephen is obsessed with toes!! He is always trying to eat my toes. Don't worry, I stopped him. We don't actually let him eat them or even really touch them. I let him get this close so I could take picture.

After breakfast, he played in the walker. You can tell he was tired by his puffy eyes.

Photobucket

Stephen ran up to the dry cleaners to drop off some clothes and he got back while Stephen was in his walker. Anytime the door opens, he stops and just waits to see who it is.

Photobucket

It's Daddy! He is always so excited when he sees Daddy! He rushed over to him.

Then it was time for a nap. We love looking at him on the monitor. Stephen and I will both just randomly look at the monitor any time he is sleeping and say, "Awww, he is so cute!". And the other always agrees- haha!

Photobucket

I made butternut squash during his morning nap. He LOVES butternut squash!

Photobucket

Then he woke up and got another bottle.

Photobucket

I LOVE this next picture!! It captures exactly who he is! A happy, adorable boy! We love him SO much! It was worth taking over 500 pictures this weekend, to get this one!

Photobucket

Then it was time to play some more!

Photobucket

I just love his eyes! I hope they never change!

Photobucket

He just rolls around and plays with one toy for a while and then gets another one.

Then he found Sadie's toys.

Stephen was telling him no so he looked back at him.

But he went for them anyways!

Daddy said no again so he looked back some more.

Then we re directed him to some of his toys.

He loves this ball from his Great Great Grandma Gregory.

Photobucket

I love this curl in his hair.

He was laughing at Stephen. Anything Daddy does is SO funny!

Then it was time for lunch. He had butternut squash and sweet potatoes.

Then more time in the walker. This time he found my purse.

I let him explore the dining room some.

Then it was time for his afternoon nap. While he napped, I cleaned his toys really good.

After he woke up, we made a trip to Target. We were trying to find a swing for our back patio and a bike trailer so we can put Stephen in it while we ride our bikes. We didn't find either. But we did get a few new toys for Stephen and I found this cute basket to put all of his toys in.

Photobucket

Here is our cute boy in the cart. He didn't really like sitting in it, so we ended up carrying him most of the time.

Photobucket

We went to an early dinner at Cheddar's and then came home and it was time for bath and bed!

We had such a good day together! Saturdays used to be really hard for me. Stephen worked every Saturday until 8. When I would go anywhere I would see families together and get so sad. I just wanted him to be with me. We are both SO thankful for his new job and that he only works every third Saturday. I love spending Saturdays with my two boys!
