Stephen's First Easter

I love Easter! This Easter was so special as it is Stephen's first. We went out to my parents house and it was such a beautiful day!

I had planned on doing a lot of decorating, but this is all I got to. I love these alabaster eggs!

Look what the Easter bunny brought Stephen:

He didn't really like the grass so he kept making these weird faces. But this one was pretty cute!

Holding the ball and bunny distracted him and we got a little smile. It may have helped that everyone was behind me trying to make him smile- haha!

He loved the Easter eggs.

I love this next picture! He is looking up at my dad, who was talking to him. I love his smile, his outfit, and his daddy holding him, smiling.

He loved the new teethers the Easter bunny brought. They are produce a lot of drool though, haha! My dad had to have a towel to catch it all!

We just spent the day hanging out and eating!

The wonderful coconut cake my mom made! She found some edible grass this year for us to decorate with. Jessica was the only one brave enough to try it. She said it tasted like green apple cardboard. Awesome!! After that description, the rest of us decided to take her word for it and avoid the edible grass! The cake was wonderful though.

During one of Stephen's naps, we had an adult egg hunt. Aaron was serious!! He took out running and so I kicked off my shoes and ended up in a pile of sticker burrs- ouch!

It was the last day of the masters tournament so we stayed to watch the end of it. Here is Stephen just hanging out with my mom. He was a little fussy so we let him play with a water bottle. That always makes him happy!!

We had a great Easter!
