I didn't take many pictures this week, but I made up for it this weekend. Get ready folks, I've got a lot to show you!
Friday night, Stephen and I went out with our friends to a bar called Capitol Bar that our friend, Brian, opened. It was the soft opening, so we all went out to show him our support.

Although a little chilly, it was a beautiful night and we had such a good time!

Our friends Heather and Pablo.

We got home around 2 am and Stephen woke up at 6:45. Awesome!!! I let Daddy sleep in since he had a few too many drinks the night before.
I set my self timer to take a picture of me holding Stephen while I cooked breakfast. This is how I cook most meals. He throws a fit if I don't hold him, so I put him down when I need to use both hands and then pick him back up.

No matter what I tried the camera would not focus on us, but I still love this picture of us mainly just for the memory.
I also have to include this story for my memory keeping purposes. While I was making breakfast Stephen went to look out the front windows and he saw Daddy's truck. He got SO excited and happy and started yelling, "Dada"!!!
I told him Daddy was sleeping and to be quiet. He walked over to our bedroom door and tapped on it whispering, "Dada". It was so cute!

For breakfast I made eggs, toast and strawberries. Stephen always wants to eat with my fork these days, so I started giving him his own little and big fork and letting him decide which one to use.

After a few bites, he usually realizes that the toddler size fork is the better option.

After breakfast we played for a while and he kept going over to our bedroom door saying "Dada", so we went in to see Daddy. We all cuddled in bed for a while.

On the way home Friday night, or I guess it was Saturday morning, Stephen kept talking about what a good time he had and how we should go out with our friends like that once a month, etc. Saturday morning he changed his tune and was reminded that he isn't 21 anymore!
Daddy finally got up and made his way to the couch where he tried to convince Stephen to cuddle with him. He wasn't having it though.

We played catch instead.
We all played together the rest of the morning and then Stephen took a nap. We decided to go to the park, so we had to change Stephen out of his pajamas. That's why he looks naked in these next pictures. He has a diaper on though.

Daddy was blowing on his stomach.

Then he was standing on Daddy's stomach.

It was pretty cold, especially with the wind, but otherwise it was such a beautiful day!

Stephen loves going backwards down slides.

Following Daddy:

The big slide!

He went on the big slide over and over until some older kids got there. They were probably about 2 1/2 or 3. They were going down these steps so of course Stephen wanted nothing to do with the slide and he only wanted to go down these steps.

This picture is why I am a nervous wreck at parks. He has no fear and would literally step off that step if we would let him.

Sunday, Stephen let me sleep in. It was wonderful! When I got up we ran to the grocery store to get that out of the way.
When we got home the boys played while I put away the groceries.

I also re-organized our pantry. It gets out of control easily, so I was happy to have it all organized again.

I wanted to work in our very neglected backyard so we went out there. Here is a before picture. We had everything crammed onto the patio. What you can't see in these pictures is how dirty our concrete, door, and siding is.

I worked on cleaning the patio while Stephen entertained Stephen.

We have 5 balls, a trampoline, and a playhouse and all he wanted was my broom.

We stayed in the backyard a long time so Stephen got a quick lunch and then went down for a nap. We had started watching Skyfall the night before, but both fell asleep before 9, so we finished our movie when he went down for a nap, and then we went back outside and finished working in the backyard.
Once Stephen got up, we went and played in the front yard.

Daddy was fixing our bikes so we could ride them again. Stephen loved the air pumps.

And he was such a big helper for Daddy.

He finally got our bikes in good shape and we all went for a bike ride. We got Stephen this bike trailer to sit in.

We rode our bikes to a park about a mile away. That was a workout!

We rode back home, ate dinner, Stephen got a bath and was off to bed!
This was one of the best weekends! We need time like this for just the 3 of us to be together and it is so rare!
I hope you all had a great weekend!
