19 Week Ultrasound

Thursday I had my 19 week ultrasound.  This is normally when you find out the gender, but we weren't finding that out today.  We had the ultrasound technician put the gender in an envelope and my mom has it.

What we did find out today though was that we have a healthy, active baby and that is what matters most!

Here are some pictures we got.  There is a description on each picture of what you are looking at.

The baby was moving a lot and kept turning it's head right towards us.

This is my favorite picture, two legs and feet.  So cute!

Technology is truly amazing.  We were able to see the heart and watch it flutter.  They also can see all four chambers and watch the blood flow.  You see blue and red flickers on the screen.  That is amazing!   The heart rate today was 158.

It was so wonderful to see our baby and see how active the baby was.  I feel a little bit of movement, but not too much.  I can't wait until I really start feeling he or she move more.

We are so incredibly happy for a healthy baby!  Now hurry up June 1st!  I can't wait to find out if we are having a girl or a boy.
