Brook's Shower Weekend

Saturday was Brook's baby shower. Stephen was off and Steve came over to hang out with him and Stephen. One, two and three had a boys day! They went to lunch, drove around to look at some stuff while Stephen napped, came home and played, and then finally came over to Steve's house where we were all hanging out.

I snapped these with my cell phone in the morning before I left.

Brook's shower was wonderful. Nancy and Shelley did an amazing job as always! They put a lot of work and detail into the showers they host and it makes them so special!

Brook and Izabella got so many wonderful things! She is very blessed!

She got so many hand made items that will be so special. I LOVE this crocheted blanket. I wish Stephen had one like this (in blue of course- haha!)

Brook's cousin Taylor couldn't be at the shower because she is away at college, but when she was home for Christmas she made this for Brook.

We are all so excited to meet baby Izabella!! Brook is due at the end of March, but we are all thinking she will come early since Brook went into labor early in her pregnancy and had been on moderate bed rest. Whenever she comes we hope she is healthy!

We just hung out at home all day Sunday which was so nice. I took some pictures of Stephen eating lunch. He had peas and acorn squash. He doesn't love the peas, but will eat them. He loves the acorn squash though! Acorn squash, butternut squash and sweet potatoes are his favorites. I think because they are all sweet.

I love this picture! I can just hear him saying MMMMMMMM! He really does say mmmmmm sometimes after a bite. It is so cute!

I went to the grocery store and came home to this. So sweet!



That night we were playing and Stephen kept reaching for this toy. He took the top two stars off and then picked it up to put it in his mouth. Everything goes in his mouth these days!

Ignore the mismatched socks. For some reason we are losing one of each sock. I swear we have probably 15 socks without a match! It's crazy!

We had a great weekend together and with our family!
