Super Bowl Weekend

Stephen and I both took a vacation day Friday so it was a long weekend for us. And the Super Bowl was Sunday. I love the Super Bowl, but not for reasons you may think. I love it because it means that football is over!!!

Friday morning we had Stephen's 6 month well check. Everything is going great with our growing boy. The doctor called this the "golden age" because they are doing so many cute, fun things, but they still can't move and you can contain them! Haha! I have to agree!

After his doctor appointment we went by my office so everyone could see Stephen. They all just gushed over how cute he is! We then ran a few errands on the way home. Stephen was hosting a bachelor party that night at our house so Stephen and I went out to my parents.

The weather was terrible and traffic was awful so it took us almost 2 hours to get out to my parents house! Crazy! But we had fun once we got there. Stephen had fun playing with the toys at their house. He really loved this piano!

My mom got him this hat. Isn't it so cute? And it matched his outfit!

My parents got Stephen a crib and set him up a room in their house and he slept great Friday night! Thanks Mom and Dad for the nursery, I know it is going to help him sleep great at your house!

Saturday we got up and played for a while before heading back home.

We came back home to a house that was actually in one piece. I'm not quite sure what all went on Friday night, but I do know there was some beer pong played in our dining room ( I KNOW!). I stopped asking questions after that. Other than the slight odor of alcohol, the house was clean and nothing was destroyed, so I was happy!

Sunday was a busy day. We played with Stephen in the morning and then got to work during his first nap.

Then we prepared for our Super Bowl party. We showered, cleaned, and cooked. I didn't take any pictures during the party. I was exhausted and was taking care of Stephen the whole time to boot. We had a lot of fun though and the night ended well. Stephen won the final square and won $500! He is taking me to the San Luis for our anniversary in a few weeks, so sweet!

Steve sent me an email Sunday night that said to kick everyone out and tell them that football season is over and Lisa season has begun!! I love it!! Bring on Lisa season!!
