The end of May and the beginning of June

I always hate the end of the month because it means that Stephen has to work late.  But at least at his new job it's only for a day and not a week like it used to be at his old job!  Still, you would think I would be used to it after 6 years, but every month when he says, "remember it's the last day of the month so I will be home late",  I groan.  I just miss him and hate when he's not here with us!

Thursday was the last day of the month so Stephen and I were on our own all night.  We played inside most of the night and then went outside once it was a little cooler.  I can't believe how hot is already is, it's going to be a long summer!

He loves to stand up with his car.  It's not going to be long before he can sit on is and push himself around.









I think it was his mission this night to NOT look at me while we were outside, now matter what I did.  I don't have a single picture of him looking at me.  And I was doing everything I could think of to get him to look in my direction.





He was not liking the shoulder straps either and kept trying to escape them.





I'm not sure what he was doing, but I decided it was time to put the camera down and tend to him since he wasn't really strapped in and was pulling on the rope.



The reason he wouldn't look at me is because Sadie is much more interesting, especially when she is chasing a ball.  He loves watching her!





Even though I hate the end of the month, I love the beginning of the month.  It feels like a fresh, new start.  I snapped these on Friday afternoon of Stephen and Hayden.  It's so funny how different they are.





They found this blanket in the bottom of the stroller and just sat there playing with it.  Blessing is watching her friends daughter the next two weeks and has been bringing her over to our house.  She is so sweet and plays with the boys so well!



These two fight like siblings!  After a few minutes of sharing the same blanket, they each needed their own, haha!  Stephen is usually taking things from Hayden so once Hayden gets something that he doesn't want Stephen to take, he will turn his back like this.  They are so funny to watch.
