Fall Back

We had such a great weekend!  Stephen had to work Saturday, so Stephen and I hung out at home all day.  We had fun hanging out in our pajamas and just playing together.

He was hiding behind the chair from me:

He loves this camera Roslyn got him for his birthday.

After lunch I gave him a popsicle that I had made a while ago, but he didn't like them when I made them.  They are just plain, organic greek yogurt mixed with crushed strawberries and frozen in molds.  He liked him this time.

We played all day and then put some real clothes on when Daddy got home because we were going to meet Gran E and Papa G for dinner.  Stephen was SO excited to be going somewhere!

I thought he looked adorable in these Sperry's.  Shelley gave me these, they were either Taylor or Cameron's when they were little.  So cute!

We met my parents for dinner at Fudruckers and Stephen was SO good.  There were a bunch of kids running around and he just watched them the whole time.  He got a cookie with his kids meal and he loved it!

So, Sunday was "fall back", you know where we "gain an hour of sleep"!  Oh I remember those lovely days before kids.  This Sunday, we were up at 6:30!  Fun!!  I brought Stephen down and put him in our bed and we turned on some cartoons to see if he would just relax and watch them.  HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!  Anyone who knows Stephen knows this didn't happen.  The below picture is not an accurate representation of our morning.  It was more like Stephen doing his best to roll off every side of our bed, play with the remote or our phones, etc.  We got up around 6:35, ha!

That afternoon, Uncle Aaron and Aunt Jessi came to see us.  And when I say us, I mean Stephen!

He does his hands up like this now when we ask him a question or he is looking for something.  It is so cute!

He randomly walked into the living room and put his head down like this, so Uncle Aaron helped him do a flip.

He was playing peek a boo with Aunt Jessi through the coffee table.

He kept putting the remote up to his ear like a phone, so after a while Aunt Jessi gave him her phone.

Uncle Aaron called her phone and this was his reaction when it rang:

I wish I had it on video, it was so funny!

He didn't quite understand that he was supposed to talk on the phone.  He wanted Uncle Aaron's phone too.

We had such a fun afternoon with them!!  Thanks for coming to see us Aaron and Jessica!

And even though we didn't get an extra hour of sleep, an extra hour with my family is always wonderful!
