A relaxing weekend that turned into a crazy weekend!

*Well folks, as usual I am behind!  The past two weeks have been absolutely crazy with the holidays and I am just getting stuff back to normal!  I have a ton of pictures to upload, edit, and blog!  I promise I am working as hard as I can!  I also have a bunch of cute videos for you.  Thanks for your patience*

*This post refers to the weekend of December 15-16th*

I was SO ready for a relaxing weekend.  Stephen had been out of town this week and we just needed some downtime together as a family.  Stephen went into work Saturday and my boy and I just hung out around the house.  We had a lot of fun together playing and cuddling!

He wanted to cuddle with me while he ate his snack of cheerios and he was just being so sweet!

He loves to give kisses!

This boy melts my heart!

I'm not sure how this happened because this cup has a very good lid that he can stick his hand through and get the cheerios out so they don't spill everywhere, but they spilled everywhere!  Stephen is such a big helper these days and always wants to be by my side helping me.  He loves throwing things in the trash, he would love it if I would let him sweep, and helps me carry clothes from the dryer to the couch to be folded.  Too bad he can't fold them yet- haha!  So, when these cheerios spilled he immediately jumped off the couch to pick them up.

I was holding the cup for him, but apparently it wasn't in the right spot because he came to fix my position.  I was cracking up!

When it was just where he wanted it to be, he got to work!

Such a good helper!

Stephen got home from work later that afternoon and this is when things went from relaxing to crazy!  And since it was crazy I have no pictures for you, sorry!  We had been looking for bedroom furniture for a few weeks and when Stephen gets his mind on something, he just can't let it go.  So, we went back out shopping.  We went to the Gallery Furniture store on Post Oak near the Galleria and found the most perfect bedroom set!  I am the most indecisive person you will probably ever meet and the moment I saw this one, I said, that's it, let's get it!  Stephen quickly found a sales person before I changed my mind and in no time we were out of there.  Gallery Furniture delivers their furniture the same day which was great.  Or so we thought!!

We grabbed a quick dinner and then headed home and put Stephen to bed and Stephen and I got to work.  We cleaned out our entire room and put everything in the living room.  The delivery guys showed up at midnight and finally left around 1 am!  We were exhausted but we put a few things away and then crashed!

Sunday was so incredibly exhausting!!  We went through every single thing in our bedroom and closet and organized and got rid of stuff!  All while entertaining a toddler.  And as if that wasn't enough, Stephen decided to clean the garage later that afternoon!  We were both exhausted Sunday night, but SO happy to be sleeping in our beautiful new room that is finally organized!
