I was never going to be one of *those* parents. You know, the ones who give their 10 year olds cell phones. I mean what does a 10 year old need a phone for.
Well, our 16 month old officially has an iPhone! I know, it's crazy! It really is! But here's the story. I had a iPhone 4 that had a small crack in the screen. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 5 and was planning on selling my iPhone 4 only to find out it really wasn't worth much especially with a crack in the screen. We decided to keep it in case something happened to one of current phones, then we would have a backup. In the meantime, Stephen started becoming obsessed with our phones. He loved to push the home button over and over again. He doesn't really understand how to slide the button to access to phone thankfully. He also loves to look at pictures and can scroll though them and he loves to watch videos of himself! So the other day I was at Target and as we were walking through the toy isle I saw this case for iPhones for toddlers and I decided to get it for him so he could use my old phone.
It sounds absolutely crazy! And it is crazy! He really doesn't play with it much right now, but I know there are a lot of good games for toddlers and I figure he can use it later for those and it will be nice to have for car trips and stuff. But we will certainly limit his use!
