Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with the Prathers.  We went over to their house after Stephen's morning nap and just brought him in his pajamas since we were hoping he would take another nap over there and I didn't want him messing up his cute church outfit.

He loved playing with Papaw's phone in the study.

I also want to note how hot it is right now!  It is in the 80's, which is why you see us in shorts and short or no sleeve shirts.  We are supposed to be getting a cold front on Christmas Day.

We brought his pack n play and set him up to take a nap upstairs, but he wasn't having it.  He was screaming at the top of his lungs!  I went and got him and put him in Daddy's lap and Daddy and Papaw pretended to sleep and he fell asleep.

After Stephen woke up, we all got ready and headed to church with the rest of the family.  Stephen was being so shy.  He was walking in just fine and then we saw Mary, Gary, Brook and Izzy and he froze and put his hands over his eyes.



We put him in the nursery for church and it didn't go well.  When we dropped him off, they just took him distracted him with a ball and told us to leave and when I went to get him they said he cried the whole time.  I was so sad for him!

After church we all went to dinner at Pappasitos and it was so much fun!  It always is!

Stephen always wants to be with Papaw and even says Papaw now.  Well, it's more like Babaw, but he is definitely talking about Papaw and can even point to his picture and say his name.  He also does the same with my mom and calls her GG.

Stephen was SO tired since he didn't nap and it was way past his bedtime.  This picture is blurry, but I love it!



Stephen and Izzy were fighting over this toy.  It used to be Stephen's but we left it in Palestine and Brook brought it home and it is Izzy's favorite toy now!  They were pulling it back and forth between the two of them.



We were outside leaving and we told Stephen to give Izzy a kiss and he kissed her like 10 times.  It was too cute!





We had a great night and are so ready for Santa to come in the morning!
