Stephen went to spend Friday night and Saturday with my parents. My mom wanted to send him his Valentines balloon in the mail for him to open, but when she went to mail it, it was going to cost $80!!! To mail a balloon! Crazy! Needless to say, she didn't mail it, but he got to open it Friday night when he got to their house. She sent me these videos:
I'm not sure if he likes the bubble wrap or the balloon more!
The reason he went to stay with them is because we had plans Saturday night, which ended up getting canceled. Stephen was off Saturday so we decided to spend the day getting stuff done that we are never able to. I worked on my office and got it completely cleaned out, which felt so good! Stephen put a shelf together for me for my office and I am so glad to finally have this space organized!
Our 7th anniversary is February 25th and since we had nothing to do Saturday night, we decided it would be the perfect night to celebrate. We went to Taste of Texas for dinner and it was wonderful! They gave us a free dessert and took our picture:
After dinner we went to Trader Joe's so I could pick up a few things and then went home.
Sunday, we met my parents for lunch and picked up Stephen and then came home so he could nap. After his nap we went and had dinner and ran a few errands. Sundays seem to fly by lately! Why do the weekends always go by so quickly? Regardless of how quickly it passed, it was a great weekend!
