Annette came over Monday and brought Stephen a Valentines Day present. She got him a tractor flashlight and some train bath toys. He loved them all, but really had fun with the bag and tissue paper. He would put the toys in the bag and then cover them with tissue paper and then take it all back out. We did that quite a few times, until the bag broke! The battery on my big camera was dead, but I snapped these with my camera.
He also got gifts from his other grandparents. Papaw and Memaw sent him a gift card to Toys R Us and Gran E and Papa G got him some candy and a talking balloon.
Our grocery store always has balloons up and Stephen loves them. He points to them and yells "baaaaaallllll". I never buy them for him, but when we went to the store this week there were balloons literally everywhere and he was freaking out. I decided to get one for him. Here was his reaction:
As you can see he loved it!!
We didn't do anything special for Valentine's Day this year. Just a quiet night at home, which is just fine by me! Since our anniversary is 9 days after Valentines Day, we always focus on that day more.
