I'm so far behind! I apologize! We have been so busy and I have so much on my mind getting ready for our trip (we're going to Europe in June!!!!). So I am going to play catch up today. These pictures are from 2 weeks ago.
We went to the park on Monday.

When did my baby get so big!?! I can't believe he is almost two!

After boycotting the baby swings for the big swings, he has decided he likes the baby swings now. I think he must feel safer in them. I would say, "No hands" and he would do this and laugh.

Me and my sweet boy! Sorry it's so big!

I forgot to take after pictures of our hard work in the yard and garage. The garage still looks like a mess, but trust me it is SO much better! You couldn't even walk in there before. It was bad! We want to get some hooks to hang stuff on the walls and then it will look even better.

I love how the yard looks!

Stephen found something and came rushing out to show me.

A quarter. Awesome!

We have random change all over our house because of Stephen (the big one). He drives me crazy with his change. I have a container in the kitchen, and 2 in the bedroom for him to put his change in, but it ends up all over the counters and floors. I get so mad when I find one on the floor. Thankfully Stephen doesn't put them in his mouth, but it makes me so nervous.

It was such a beautiful day and I was avoiding making dinner so we went for a walk.

Are you coming Mama?

Stephen loves the mail boxes. He is pointing to ask me if he can go over there. He is funny because he does this wanting my permission, but if I told him no, a major fit would ensue. But I am glad he still asks for permission.

He has to open every single box. Multiple times.

Then we walked up the hill by our house.

He is so independent and does so much on his own that it makes my heart melt when he wants me.

This is what you see at the top of the hill. Exciting, I know! There are cows over on the left and ducks in the pond. In the morning, the cows come up to the fence. I think they are eating here, so they wouldn't come over.

Sidenote: When we first moved in to our house, we had no clue this was back there. One day we were outside with all of our neighbors and a bull walks into our culd-e-sac. We were all so shocked and scared! None of us had any clue there were cows back there!
I wanted to get a cute picture of Stephen while we were on the hill. Here's how that went:

Alrighty then.
He does this when he is looking for something and I think it is adorable!

We finally went in for dinner and I let Stephen eat on the counter, which he loves!!

Tuesday: our naked chef after a bath.

Wednesday was another gorgeous day that we spent outside. After riding for awhile, he gets out to push his truck.

Wednesday night I gave him a haircut myself. I think it turned out ok. I wasn't happy with the front, but after 45 minutes, he was D-O-N-E!! I had Barney on, but he still moved quite a bit, so next time I will wait for Stephen to help me. But for a boy who does not sit still unless he is sleeping, he did so good!

Thursday we had a horrible storm come through around lunch time. This picture doesn't show it well, but it was pitch black dark outside. There was heavy rain and strong winds. We even had a tornado warning in our neighborhood. It was really scary, but thankfully it only lasted about 30 minutes and then cleared up.

Friday night we went to dinner at Lupe Tortilla, our new favorite mexican place. Stephen loved playing in this fountain while we waited.

We bought him this golf cart from someone in our neighborhood. It needs a new battery, but he loves it!!

And that was our week! Mothers Day is next!
