Blessing needed off on Friday, so I took off to be with Stephen. It was supposed to be a record cold day and windy, so I decided we would go to the Children's Museum that morning.
Stephen loves this big truck:

And he loves this police car:

We went into the grocery store and he "got" it a little more. He got a basket all by himself and then started to fill it up.

But then he was distracted by something quite exciting.

BALLS!!!! Aka, mangoes.

He proceed to throw 2 of them on the floor and I could see where this was going, so I suggested we move on.

Before leaving he had a few credit cards to ring up though.

Next to the grocery store is the vets office. He went right in and opened this cage. Then he became terrified. He realized there were animals (stuffed animals) everywhere and was paralyzed with fear despite me telling him they were not real. I think he has my love/ fear of animals. He loves to look at them and point to them, but does not want to touch them or be close to them. I totally understand buddy!

Then we made our way up to the tot spot, where every stay at home mom in the city of Houston decided to meet. Awesome!
He went right to his favorite car and claimed his seat among a sea of kids:

He loves climbing stairs right now and at home want to hold the hand rail, but can barely reach it. He loved that he could climb these so easy.

Come on Mama.

He went up and down the stairs a few times before I coaxed him into going down the slide.

He was perplexed by this baby doll. After poking her in the eye a few times, he threw her on the ground. I'm worried about his future siblings!

These jeans, despite being 18- 24 months, were huge on him and I had to keep pulling them up.

This picture cracks me up! There are 2 small cars in the tot spot and both drivers seats are usually full with a kid waiting to pounce when you get up. I think he was claiming his spot so no one else would try to come in.

Trying to figure out another baby doll. He also threw her on the ground.

He would turn off this light and then wave bye to the bear.

He was mad that this top wouldn't come off.

As I mentioned, every stay at home mom in Houston had the same idea we did. It was a mad house! We have a membership to the Children's Museum so we go often and always on a Saturday and it has been crazy before, but never this bad. A few times Stephen would get ahead of me and I would get "stuck" behind other parents and couldn't be right by him and he would look around in a panic trying to find me. I wasn't far and would yell his name, but he couldn't even hear me. It was bad!
So, I decided to take him downstairs since we hadn't really explored any of that yet. That was a great idea because it was much less crowded down there.

He loved this!

This room was filled with fun activities to do with a golf ball. Next to a ball pit, I think this is what Stephen must think heaven looks like! This boy loves balls! The only problem was that he just wanted to throw the balls. I let him to this activity where you roll the ball into a hole, but then he threw another ball, so we quickly made our way out of there before he hit someone with a golf ball!

He could pull all of these ropes. He is so strong! My dad calls him Bam-Bam because he just picks stuff up no matter how big or heavy.

We went back home for lunch and Stephen a nap. That afternoon we went to run errands and met Daddy for dinner.
It was a great day with my boy!
