Saturday we had two birthday parties to go to. The first one was from noon to 3. This is when Stephen naps- ugh! I planned to get there right at noon and leave a little early and let him nap in the car on the way to the second party, which started at 3. When we got to the first party at noon, I looked back to see this:

The first party was for Janssen who was turning one. I only took one picture because I was chasing Stephen around the whole time. Stephen was at work during this party.
Here is Janssen smashing his cake. He wasn't so sure about it.

We left early as planned so Stephen could nap on the way to the second party. Well that didn't happen. He was wide awake the whole time!
The next birthday party was for Christian who was turning 3.
They had these little chairs set up in the backyard that Stephen loved!

That is Christian in the pool. He is turning 3 and Stephen is as tall as him and probably weighs a little more!

We got his bathing suit on, but he needed a little time to think about getting into the pool, so he ate a cookie.

Still thinking about it.

And he's in!

He loved it!

This is his "get me out" look:

I convinced him to stay for a while longer though and he had fun!

This little girl is 2 months younger than Stephen. Look how big he is next to her! All of our friends at the party were laughing and saying he is going to be taller than me by kindergarten. I think they may be right!!

Aaron made the boys this chalkboard.

Everyone got out of the pool to play in the bubble machine.

They had these little bottles of water and since Stephen was already wet from the pool, I let him do it all on his own and he loved it! He was obsessed with this water bottle.

We let them borrow our jump house for the party. Everett had gone to the pool and gathered all of the swords and took them to the jump house. He looked so funny trying to get inside with all the swords!

It was a fun, but exhausting day! Stephen fell asleep as soon as we got into the car!
