We had a good, but busy weekend!
I'll start with Friday afternoon because I consider that the weekend. I ordered a water/ sand table for Stephen and we got it Friday. I started pushing it to the living room so I could put it together, but Stephen quickly took over.

Stephen was off Saturday which was great because we needed to get stuff done for our trip. We have both waited until the last minute to shop, so we needed to go get some clothes and shoes on Saturday. We went to Rochesters for Stephen and they gave Stephen a sucker. He has never had one before and I usually wouldn't let him have this one, but we know the sales man, Enrique, really well (Stephen and his dad have been shopping here forever! Enrique hugs us when we walk in!) so I didn't want to hurt his feelings by taking it away.
At first he wasn't sure what to do with it so he just carried it around.

Then he figured it out and loved it of course!

Next we went to Dillards where Stephen got to ride the escalator for the first time.

We went back home so Stephen could nap and then when we woke up we went to have dinner for Zach's graduation. You can see those pictures HERE.
Sunday we woke up and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Stephen loves playing this game they have on the table.

After breakfast we sat on the porch and played checkers and rocked in the rocking chairs for a while.

That afternoon we played in the backyard. Stephen loves his water table. We need to get some sand and then it will probably stay a sand table.

He has started looking at me and saying cheese. Although he only gives me about half a second to snap the picture, so most of them end up like this. He says "eeessse".

It was so nice to finish shopping and get stuff ready for the trip. We also had some nice time just being together. Stephen and I are both getting sad about leaving our baby for 10 days. We know he will be having a blast and be very well taken care of (and spoiled rotten), but we are going to miss him SOOOOOO much!
