Saturday morning Stephen and I were painting (yes, I was painting with him), when he asked for some of his Halloween candy, so I let him have a few pieces. He has never really eaten candy before. If he has a treat, it is usually a piece of cake at a party, a cookie, etc. I can't remember ever giving him candy. So this was his first year to really eat candy and his eyes have been opened to a whole new world- haha! He loves it!
Our paintings:

He first chose a kit kat.

Those eyes! I never thought I would have a baby with blond hair and blue eyes, but I am so happy I did. People always ask us where he gets his blond hair from. Stephen and I actually both had dirty blonde hair growing up. And while I have blue eyes, Stephen has brown eyes, which are dominant. He must have the blue recessive gene though because we made these beautiful blue eyes!

Yikes!

After the kit kat he wanted a twizzler that had 3 little pieces connected, so after I opened it for him, I took them apart so he could eat them eat separately.
Big mistake. HUGE!
He was not happy with me, so I did my best to fix it and put them back together. Here is what he thought about that:

Oh my gosh! He cracks me up!!! I'm pretty sure this look means, "I will accept it this time, but don't you ever take my twizzlers apart again.".

He would have eaten candy all day long, but I told him he could only have one more piece. He chose very carefully.

He finally settled on a sixlet and I'm pretty sure it's because there are about 10 candies in one. He's a smart one!

I was cleaning up our painting stuff and came back to the living room to find him like this:

His hands resting on his face are too cute! I can't imagine my life without this adorable, funny boy!
