Brothers

I know I have mentioned this before, but Stephen is so sweet to Avery.  He is always asking what he is doing, if he is going to eat or wake up, etc.  I know he can't wait for him to grow up and they can play together.






I had a lactation consultant come over on Tuesday to help me and she explained why it is important for babies to sleep on their stomachs.  The current recommendations are that all babies sleep on their backs, but for hip development, it is better for them to sleep on their stomachs and with their legs up like a frog.  She suggested that we let him sleep on his stomach during the day when we are next to him and can monitor him.  He seems to love this and sleeps amazingly well like this, even with big brother yelling around him.

After being off for a week, Stephen had to go back to work on Monday. My mom came over to stay with us Monday and Tuesday to help me with the boys. We are so grateful for her! She is such an amazing help to me! She helped take care of the boys and cooked for us. Thanks Mom!!

I took a bunch of pictures of Avery one morning and loved how they turned out.  I took a bunch of his feet and got some funny faces too.

I just love this boy so much!

Saturday- Meeting Mamaw

Our first Saturday home was a relaxing day and we had some visitors in the afternoon.





My Dad brought Mamaw over so she could meet Avery.  Avery was her fathers name. She loved holding him and he just slept in her arms.







Stephen loves Mamaw so much!  They have such a sweet bond!









Whenever I take Avery's picture, I always try and take Stephen's as well, but he wasn't having it this day.  I snapped this one as he was watching Monsters with Daddy and then he caught me.

Stephen is such a good big brother.  He loves looking at Avery and talking to him.











Later that afternoon, Annette, Jim, Marci and Will all came over and brought us dinner.   Here is Avery and Nana.
