Palestine

We haven't been to Palestine in so long.  It is mainly because Stephen is now working back in sales and has to work every Saturday.  Plus we have just been so busy this year.  But we knew it would be a while before we could go once the baby comes and I really wanted Stephen to be able to go because he loves it so much!

So Labor Day weekend we didn't have any plans and decided to go.  Stephen had to work Saturday and Monday, so Stephen and I headed up Saturday around noon.  Thankfully he slept a good portion of the  trip.



Once we got there he was ready to play!  We pretty much just hung out all afternoon and evening.  Playing in the garage, riding his bike, going to the barn, riding around, etc.















He loved being in the barn and feeding the chickens.











Stephen came up very late Saturday night.  Sunday we got up and had breakfast and everyone went to the lake.  I can't be on the boat right now plus it was way too hot out there for me, so I stayed home.  i went and got a pedicure, rested, and took a nap.  It was great!

Everyone had a great time on the boat.  The boys did the knee board and Stephen loved driving.








Stephen got up early Monday and headed back to Houston to work.  Such a bummer.  We were going to leave around nap time, so we hung out some in the morning and then swam for a little bit.  Steve took these two pictures of Stephen on his phone.

My plan was to head home around nap time so Stephen would sleep in the car most of the way, but he would not fall asleep.  Finally about 20 minutes from home I looked back and saw this.



We had such a great weekend!
