After we got Stephen's hair cut, we went home so he could take a nap, but then ventured out that afternoon to go to the pumpkin patch. We have a great one right in our neighborhood and there was no one there!
He was in awe of all the pumpkins!
I never miss an opportunity to capture these beautiful eyelashes!
Stephen put him on his hay bail and he immediately picked up this little pumpkin and as you will see, he carried it around the remainder of the time.
After a few minutes, he decided he was done with this little photoshoot and hopped off of the hay all by himself, not letting go of that pumpkin!
I wanted to get a picture of him in front of all of the big pumpkins, but the light was weird and he wasn't cooperating what so ever!
There was a pile of small pumpkins, so Stephen put him on there so I could take a picture.
While on top of the pile, Stephen decided to throw his beloved pumpkin:
He then had to sweet talk Daddy into giving it back to him. He thought these faces would work:
Daddy told him to smile for one picture for Mommy and he would give the pumpkin back and here is what I got:
Awesome!!
In the end, we did get an adorable picture:
He learned his lesson and didn't let go of his pumpkin the rest of the time we were there!
And because I feel like reminicing today, here he is last year at this same pumpkin patch:
He used to hold his hands together like this all the time.
Such sweet memories!
