Since Stephen works every Saturday, he is off every Wednesday (except for the last week of the month). He keeps Stephen home from school and they have a fun day together. It's a bummer that I have to work, but it is also nice that they have time together. After I get off work in the afternoons, we usually do something fun together as a family.
This Wednesday we went to the pool. Stephen is doing so good swimming. I am going to take some video at his next swim lesson for you all to see, but I am amazed at how well he can swim for just turning 3!

This week we went to the main pool in our neighborhood that has this fun play area for kids. We went a few weeks ago and Stephen was scared to go down these slides, but this time he did it without any fear and loved them! He had so much fun!

During adult swim, he found his goggles in my bag and wanted to wear them. He normally just likes to wear them on top of his head, but this time he actually wore them on his eyes for a while.

This pool also has two big slides you can see behind Stephen here. After he had done the small slides for awhile he wanted to do these so badly! You have to be 48 inches tall to ride them, but we thought maybe Stephen could hold him and ride with him. The lifeguard told us no and Stephen had the biggest fit. He was so mad he couldn't go down them! He also really wants to jump off of the diving board, but the lifeguard told us we can't be there to catch him, he has to jump and swim to the side himself. Those lifeguards are no fun- haha!! He has no fear of the water, which is a little scary, but I am really glad he loves being in the water and feels comfortable.

We had a really fun night together!
