12 Months

Here is Stephen's official 12 month post.

* He weighs 25 pounds and is 33 inches long.  He is off the charts, but more so in height.  The nurse had to measure him twice because she said surely he hasn't grown this much in a month!  He is a tall boy!

* He is wearing size 12-18 month clothes.

* He drinks 7 ounces of formula 4 times a day and eats 3 ounces of solids 3 times a day.   We are going to start him on whole milk instead of formula and try and cut out 2 bottles a day and just give a zippy cup of milk.  We'll see how it goes!

* He is still a great eater when it comes to solids.   He loves to feed himself.

* We are still using cloth diapers and loving it!

* He has been so tired at night so he has been going to sleep around 7:15 and sleeping until 7 am!

* He takes 2 naps for about an hour and a half to 2 hours each day.

* He is walking!!  He is such a good walker!

* He is such a happy, fun baby!  He makes us smile from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed!

* He is obsessed with balls!!  Seriously obsessed.  Wherever we are he points to anything that resembles and ball or is in the shape of a circle and says ball over and over.

* In addition to balls, he also loves cars.  He will say "vroom" while he is playing with them.

* The only word he says anymore is ball.   

* He is getting into books.  He loves to hold them and carry them around, but won't really sit still for us to read them to him.  

* He hates his diaper being changed or changing his clothes.  He doesn't want to stop playing!  

* He has started throwing little tantrums if he doesn't get what he wants.  It's usually right before his nap or bedtime when he is tired.  He will throw his whole body back.  

We are so thankful for this baby boy every single day!  He brings so much joy to us!
