This weekend and week have been crazy!!! I have been working on a video/ slideshow of Stephen's first year and it has been taking up every single free moment I have. I have also been working on decorations for his party as well. The past two weeks I have stayed up until 3am way too many nights!! But your baby only turns ONE once, so I'm going all out!!
This was the only picture I took on Saturday. Stephens hat was on the bar and he saw it when I got him up from his nap. He wouldn't drink his bottle until he had that hat. He kept pushing the bottle away and pointing to his hat. He left it on the whole time he drank his bottle.
And here is the only picture from Sunday. Stephen took it, not me. I was out running errands for his party and Stephen posted this on Facebook.
Even though it was a crazy week, we did meet my friend Ki for dinner one night at the galleria. We let Stephen down to walk a little in Nordstrom while I was waiting to pick up some shoes.
He did surprisingly well. I thought he would go and take all the shoes off, but he didn't. He just walked around and enjoyed his freedom!
One night I was making dinner and heard Stephen playing in the foyer. I went and looked and he was just laying there playing with a car.

I was putting some pictures into frames for the party and Stephen thought the boxes were the greatest thing. He played with these boxes for almost 30 minutes!! He would carry them around, sit on them, throw them. Who knew boxes could be so entertaining!
Being busy this week has certainly kept my mind off the fact that my baby is turning ONE this weekend! What an amazing year this has been!
