It's a golf par-tee for our boy!!

We had so many family and friends come. It was a great day!

Stephen loved having Christian and Everett to play with.

Sweet Livi

Stephen went over to Livi and wanted to touch her headband and Christian rushed over and told him, "no, no , leave the baby alone.". It was so cute! We had Stephen's first year video playing which is what you see on the tv.

Then it was time for cake! The moment everyone had been waiting for. I have made all of his food thus far and don't let him have sugar, so everyone couldn't wait to see what he was going to do with the cake.

He seemed excited, but then was like, "what is this?".

Looking at Daddy for re assurance.

I'm not sure if he was trying to share with Daddy or he wanted him to clean his hand. He doesn't like his hands dirty like this, but he is also way into sharing.

After a few minutes, he was done!

How old are you Stephen?

Haha! That above picture cracks me up! He was just pointing at something, but it looks like he is holding up a one! So cute!
Then it was time for presents. The cake made his face break out really bad, so that is why is face looks a little weird in these pictures.

After we opened the trampoline, he climbed right on it.

He got so many great gifts! We are so thankful for everything and he loves all his new toys!
He was obsessed with the balloons. Papaw tied him one into a slip knot and put it on his wrist so it wouldn't fly away. He loved it!

Uncle Aaron showing him how to work the cars. You pull them back and let them go and they go on their own.

It was a great party and we were so thankful for everyone coming over to celebrate Stephen's first birthday!!
Ok, now for the details. I worked SO hard on this party. Months of planning, shopping and preparing plus many late nights the week leading up to the party. But it was all so worth it! I loved how everything turned out.
This was the dining room.

Aunt Linette painted this rocking chair for Stephen. Isn't it awesome!! I love it so much! And Stephen loved it too! He kept climbing in and out of it.

Cake and cupcakes

I loved his cake!!

I had the utensils in jars like this. We had BBQ to eat and I made a fruit salad.

I love these straws!!

Chalkboard in the kitchen

The mantel. I love how this turned out! The photo banner is a picture of him each month.

Here is a close up of the photo banner. It was so hard to narrow it down to one photo for each month, but I love the ones I chose!

The favors. Since we weren't having many kids, I wanted something for the adults to take too. I thought those gum balls were so cute!

Whew, that's it!!! What a great party it was!
