The trashcan and a fussy baby

While in Palestine, Stephen found the trashcan learned how to open it.  Since we have the same one, it was only natural that he would come back home and want to open our trashcan.  If it is even slightly more than halfway full, he pulls everything out.  So we are going to have to figure out a new solution.

I distracted him with some tupperware.  I really want to give him a cabinet that he can get into and play with, but we just don't have much storage in our kitchen.

There was a lot of this on Monday:

Then he just laid down on the floor.  Our baby does NOT act like this.

Then he found something under the couch to reach for.

Stephen is such a trooper and did so well last week, but I know all the traveling, sleeping in a pack in play, and not being on his schedule as much was really hard for him.  I know people think I am ridiculous about his schedule, but his fussiness on Monday was all because he was off his schedule so much.  He can do a day or two, but any more than that is not good.

But by Tuesday he was back to our happy baby!  Being on a schedule may not work for all babies or all families, but for ours it is essential!
