Today has been kind of surreal. All the party preparations kept my mind off of the fact that my baby was turning one, but today it really hit me. He's one. He seems so much bigger to me today than yesterday. But just as sweet and precious!!
We had a great day as a family. These are the days I live for, just the three of us spending quality time together. We rarely get days like this so when we do, we really enjoy them!
When he saw his rocking chair that morning he was so excited and kept climbing in and out of it. He was also obsessed with the balloons.

I sent Aunt Linette a text telling her that he loved his chair and she asked if he could get in it by himself. We shot a little video to send to her.
You can see all the toys still in our living room and yet all he wanted was the balloons.

He was also really into climbing on things. He tried to climb onto the activity table and kept climbing onto his suitcase.

For breakfast I made him eggs for the first time. Babies aren't supposed to have egg whites until they are a year old, so we tried them today since he is one!

He thought they were ok. I also gave him some fruit which he preferred. He will choose strawberries and cantaloupe over anything these days.

He was SO tired! He didn't nap well before his party and he also went to bed late, so by breakfast, he was tired!

He took a great nap and was ready to play again. He loved helping Daddy put his toys together.

He always likes to pick his big toys up.

He got these mini board books that he loves. He got one from the living room and took it onto the hardwood and was flipping through it.

Then he layed down on his tummy to read some.

He loves his activity table.

Laughing at Daddy. I just couldn't narrow these down, they are all so cute!

Did you notice the drool? He is cutting some major teeth right now!
He helped Daddy push the trampoline outside.

He pushed it all the way to the back door. Such a big helper!

Then we watched Daddy put it together. We were told you just opened the box and it popped open.

Four hours later, it was all put together- haha!!
Stephen had already gotten a bath and it was almost bedtime, but we wanted him to try it out since Daddy had worked so hard putting it together.

I think it's safe to say he likes it!
Here is a video, it's kind of long, sorry about that.
