We didn't have a lot planned for Stephen's birthday. His party is next Sunday. But we had a fun day at home together, he got some presents, and then we went to Hayden's birthday party.
He got a package from Gran E and Papa G to open.

A rocket! He has one of these at their house and loves it so they sent him one to have at our house.

He loved reading the card too.

We gave him a golf set and some new books. His play set was our big gift to him, but he got that a month ago. He loved playing golf all over the house.

I blew up some balloons that morning and he used them to golf with too.

He wanted a snack and asked for a peach. I normally cut them up for him, but he wanted to eat it like this. He actually did really good with it!

I took some pictures as we were heading out to Hayden's party. I wanted to take formal 2 year pictures but it was raining and yucky both mornings this weekend so we will have to try next weekend. My lens fogged up bad when we went outside due to the 100% humidity we had- ugh! I just had to go with it even though there is still some fog because we were all melting!

Here are some out takes:

Hayden's party was a Stomping Grounds in Sugar Land. They had a great toddler area and Stephen had a blast!

It was interesting to watch them play together. They didn't always play right with each other, but always knew where the other one was. Stephen more so than Hayden. Stephen would get very upset if he didn't know where Hayden was. I am so glad they are going to the same school in September and I'm hoping that will make the transition smoother.

Blessing came and the boys were so happy to see her.

It was a really fun party and a great way to end our wonderful weekend!
I still can't believe our baby is 2 years old! He just seems so big to me now. We just love this boy to pieces and can't even imagine life without him!
